There is the list of features that are coming with the new seats: 1-Airbag sensor. 2-Seat belt sensor. 3-Heating system. 4-4 motors for position adjustments. 5-Side bolsters. 6-Lumbar bolster. So, any seat are coming with at least option 1 and 2. I already have option 3 and I will add the option 4-5-6.

Low/bad battery cause all sorts of strange issues on this car. Check voltage supply with/out running engine. If good and reasonable charged it should show a bit over 12V without engine and 13.5 - 14.5 isch with engine. There is tons of info on battery caused issues to be found on the post. Hey fellas, if anyones interested I just fitted a power seat from a BMW X5 E53 2006 model to a BMW X5 E53 2004 , the older model had the same connection but when I fitted it did not work, solution for me was simple, I just hot wired it direct to the battery and inserted a inline fuse and connected only 2 wires from the seat red is + and brown is - and hey presto all works fine..regards Matt
Having the water pump in a non rotating mode during warmup must certainly speed up that process.
